π οΈ About the Role
As a Junior Support Engineer, youβll be the first point of contact for technical support, investigating and resolving issues, communicating with clients and partners, and contributing to continuous improvements across the platform.
This role is ideal for a junior or aspiring software developer with a problem-solving mindset who enjoys troubleshooting technical issues and wants to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic software environment.
Youβll work across both technical and customer-facing areas, making this a great opportunity to develop your software engineering and communication skills. π±
π§ Responsibilities
- π« Investigate and resolve incoming support tickets, escalating issues when necessary.
- π» Debug and fix issues related to TypeScript and React.
- ποΈ Identify and correct data-level issues in MySQL.
- π€ Communicate effectively with clients to understand and resolve support requests.
- π Liaise with partners, such as RMS, to troubleshoot integration and technical issues.
- π Review error logs to identify and resolve recurring problems.
- π§ͺ Assist with testing software updates and new features.
- βοΈ Perform other technical and administrative tasks as required.
π― Requirements
- π§ Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail.
- π¬ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- π» Basic proficiency in debugging TypeScript/React applications.
- ποΈ Working knowledge of MySQL, including the ability to perform basic queries and updates.
- π Proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable working independently.
- β Previous experience in a technical support or software-related role is advantageous but not essential.
